The problem may be caused by residual files from old Sky Go installations or updates that may conflict with the new version of the APP. Follow the guide to solve it.
Sky Go doesn’t open on PC, troubleshooting guide:
- Close the Sky Go app
- Download the file https://skygo.sky.it/installer/Disinstallazione%20Sky%20Go.exe and run it, this will uninstall Sky Go and all residual files from old installations or updates still present and hidden in your PC.
- Go to https://skygo.sky.it/, download and install the Sky GO application again.

- Close the Sky Go app
- Download the file https://skygo.sky.it/installer/Disinstallazione%20Sky%20Go%20MAC.zip and run it, this will uninstall Sky Go and all residual files from old installations or updates still present and hidden in your MAC.
- Go to https://skygo.sky.it/, download and install the Sky GO application again.
If the problem persists, try temporarily disabling the antivirus (if you have one active) and try to open the app again.
Minimum requirements for SKY GO on PC:
Operating System: Windows 7 (with aero theme enabled) or higher
Processor: Intel Dual Core or Core2 Duo with at least 2.1 GHz for CPU or AMD with at least 2.9 GHz
Memory: at least 2 GB of RAM
Graphics card: at least 1 GB
Minimum requirements for SKY GO on MAC:
Operating System: OS X 10.9 or higher
Processor: Intel Core i3 or higher
Memory: at least 4 GB of DDR2 RAM
Graphics card: at least 512 MB
